What size poster / sign is best?
Varitronics ProImage PosterPrinters can make posters and
banners using four paper widths ranging from 17" to 36".
Posters and banners can be created by scanning an 8-1/2"
X 11" original, or by printing directly from a PC*. Each
size is shown to scale in the samples below.

8-1/2" X 11" Original:
This size is great for a small
setting in which individuals need their own materials
to read. The ProImage XL3000 can be used to tie these
handout materials to a larger presentation and audience. |

17" Paper:
Perfect for smaller signs. Great
for bulletin boards, inside display cases, on doors,
and on the sides of desks and cabinets.
Red on white paper is being used for
these examples. Varitronics paper is available in a
variety of color combinations.
Poster / Sign size: 17" x 22"

23" Paper:
Use this size to create standard
size posters or banners. This is the most commonly used
size of Poster Printer paper. It is perfect for creating
classroom aids, hallway, office and retail store signs,
and presentation materials.

29" Paper:
Great for audiences and larger
groups of people. Your message can be delivered over
geater distances when communicated using larger paper
sizes. This size poster printer paper is ideal for small
auditoriums, meeting halls and presentation areas.

36" Paper:
The 36" paper provides the
maximum impact. This is the largest paper size that
will fit through a poster printer. With this size you
can effectively communicate your message across large
areas such as gymnasiums, athletic centers large auditoriums
and conference centers.
